Well, so far so good. I have gotten into contact with 4 teachers that I know personally and three of them have agreed to participate so far. The fourth one is interested but hasn't responded to my last message yet.
I have begun to create the learning activity using a Web 2.0 technology. I am not too far into yet, but that idea train has taken motion.
I am kind of excited to see if my project is successful with the teachers. I know Pinterest could be a very useful tool for them to find new and exciting lessons, ideas, games, etc. Final project underway!

I have a good friend who just started her first year of teaching and am excited to share with her what you do and find with this project! It will be exciting to get some ideas as she starts every day with a blank screen!!

ReplyDeleteI am interested in hearing how your teachers like collaborating with Pinterest. I am using Learnist for my project, which is similar to Pinterest, but designed for educators. Having used both, and I like Pinterest for pinning a variety of topics under one board subject heading. I really like Learnist because I can select collaborators on my board and then all of us can pin different items to it. We'll see what my students think about using it.
